endpoint
An endpoint is a specific address or access point to which clients send requests in an API or service.
An endpoint is the point at which a network service receives requests. In web APIs, the term often refers to an individual function's address, identified by a combination of a URL and an HTTP method.
In AI, the address at which a deployed model accepts inference requests is commonly called an endpoint. In network security, the word can also mean a device, such as a PC or smartphone, connected to a network.
