SynthID is a digital watermarking technology that Google DeepMind unveiled in 2023. It embeds marks that people cannot easily notice into AI-generated images, audio, text and video, so that the content can still be identified as AI-generated after editing.

SynthID Detector is a tool for uploading files to check whether they carry the watermark. It can only identify content that was watermarked and cannot detect AI-generated media without it.
