Chad Hurley is an American entrepreneur and designer. After working as an early designer at PayPal, he co-founded the video-sharing service YouTube in 2005 with Steve Chen and Jawed Karim and became its CEO.

Google acquired YouTube in 2006, and Hurley continued to lead the service for a time after the deal. He has since founded other internet and video startups and has also been active as an investor.
