VRAM
VRAM is dedicated graphics memory that a GPU uses to access visual data and AI model weights.
VRAM is memory used by a graphics processing unit, typically on a discrete graphics card. Alongside visual data, it can hold the weights of an AI model running on the GPU and data produced during inference. It is distinct from a computer’s general-purpose system memory.
For local AI workloads, available VRAM capacity affects the size of the model and data that can be held for processing.
