CNC
CNC, or computer numerical control, is the automated control of machine tools by a computer using numeric instructions.
CNC (computer numerical control) is the automated control of machine tools such as mills, lathes, routers and laser cutters by a computer following numeric instructions for position and speed. Typically, a shape designed in CAD is turned into toolpaths by CAM software, and the CNC machine follows those paths to cut metal, wood, plastic and other materials.
