SimCity
SimCity is a series of city-building simulation video games in which the player plans and manages a city as its mayor.
SimCity is a city-building simulation series designed by Will Wright and launched in 1989 by Maxis, an American game developer. Players zone residential, commercial and industrial areas, build infrastructure such as roads, power and public transit, and manage a budget as the city grows.
The games are open-ended and have no fixed win condition. Later titles include SimCity 2000, SimCity 3000 and SimCity 4. Electronic Arts acquired Maxis in 1997.
