The Protein Data Bank (PDB) is a public database of three-dimensional structures of proteins, nucleic acids and other biological molecules determined by experiments such as X-ray crystallography, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and cryo-electron microscopy. It began in 1971 at Brookhaven National Laboratory in the United States and is now run by the Worldwide Protein Data Bank (wwPDB), a partnership of institutions in several countries.

It is a core resource for structural biology and drug discovery and is widely used to train and evaluate AI models for protein structure prediction.
